Does AdWords work at Google?
AdWords may or may not work for your business, depending on the quality of the keywords you are bidding for and the importance of that keyword to real sales for your product. For the most part, we consider Google AdWords to be incredibly successful for several types of business as long as they don't waste their money on the wrong keywords, or write bad, low CTR ads.

The highest ad rank earns the position of first ad. Your actual CPC will be calculated by dividing your Rating Score by the rank of the next highest ad below you.
The only exception to this rule is when you are the only bidder in the Google Ads auction, or the lowest bid; then you pay the maximum bid per button!
Bidding with AdWords heavily penalizes marketers who bid with poor quality ratings. Those with poor quality ratings, by comparison,
get higher ad ranks and lower CPC.
