Avishai Abrahami Wix Wix was created in 2006 by
the Israeli developers Avishai Abrahami, Nadav Abrahami, and Giora Kaplan. Headquartered in Tel Aviv, Wix was funded by investors such as Insight Venture Partners, Mangrove Capital Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, DAG Ventures and Benchmark Capital. In 2007, the company entered an open beta period using an Adobe Flash based platform.
